About Heritage Hill Nursery

Heritage Hill Nursery started with a simple idea: grow the best plants in southeastern Wisconsin and help people put them in the right place. What began as a small growing operation on Pleasant Valley Road in Cedarburg has become a full-service garden center and landscape studio trusted by homeowners across the region.

Jason founded Heritage Hill two decades ago with the belief that great landscapes start with great plants, and great plants come from people who know their soil and their seasons. That philosophy has not changed. Every perennial, shrub, and tree in our nursery is grown here, in Cedarburg, in the same climate and conditions your yard will experience.

Rooted in Cedarburg

Cedarburg is not just where we are located. It is where we live, where our kids go to school, and where we have spent twenty years learning what grows, what lasts, and what makes a yard feel like home. We know the clay soils in Grafton, the wind exposure in Kewaskum, and the sandy spots in Mequon. That local knowledge is baked into every design we create and every plant we recommend.

Over the years, Heritage Hill has grown from a nursery into a landscape studio. We added design services because our customers kept asking us not just to sell them plants but to help them figure out where those plants should go. Then they asked us to install them. Then they asked us to maintain them. So we do all of that now. One team, one relationship, from seed to mature landscape.

Every plant in our nursery is grown in Cedarburg. We do not import from wholesale lots. We know what we grow because we have watched it through every season. When it goes into your yard, it is ready.

We do not sell cookie-cutter landscapes. Every design is drawn for a specific home, a specific family, and a specific piece of land. We listen first, then create something that fits.

Lasting Relationships

We are not a project-and-go company. We build landscapes and then stay with them. Many of our customers have been with us for over a decade, and we still maintain the first yards we ever built.
